This Privacy Policy describes how HUBRION LIMITED (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Object IQ mobile application (the “Application”). By using the Application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You can read this policy without signing in. Related legal documents: our Terms & Conditions (EULA) and Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the standard EULA for App Store apps), linked in Section 13.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information when you use the Application:
a) Information you provide directly
- Images and photos that you capture with the camera or choose from your photo library for AI analysis (object identification, size estimates, OCR, plant or currency identification, color extraction, and similar features).
- Questions or prompts you submit in connection with a scan, where the feature allows it.
- Scan history entries you keep in the app (for example, stored results tied to images on your device).
- Language or preference settings you choose in the app.
- Any feedback or support requests you send to us.
b) Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system version, app version, and similar technical identifiers needed to run and improve the Application.
- App usage data: features used, session and interaction patterns, and events we log to understand product usage (see Section 4 for analytics).
- Diagnostics: error or stability-related signals where available through our tooling.
- Network: IP address and coarse location (for example, country or region level) when your device communicates with our or third-party services, as typical for internet services.
c) Purchase information
- Subscription or premium status and product identifiers as validated through Apple’s App Store (and on Android devices, Google Play where applicable).
- Transaction or receipt references provided by the store to confirm entitlement — not your full payment card details.
- We do not collect or store your payment card numbers.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Application and its AI-powered scanning and analysis features.
- Process images and return analysis results to you.
- Maintain scan history and related features stored on your device.
- Enforce fair use limits for free usage and manage premium access.
- Deliver and measure advertising where the Application shows ads (see Sections 4 and 6).
- Run analytics to improve performance, reliability, and user experience.
- Diagnose technical issues and understand crashes or failures.
- Respond to support requests and communicate with you when you contact us.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Data storage & security
Scan results and history produced by the Application are stored locally on your device using on-device storage (for example, a local database) so you can view past scans. Images you analyze may be transmitted securely to third-party AI or processing services to generate results, as described in our Terms and in Section 4.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third-party services
The Application relies on third-party providers that may collect or process information about you or your device. Those providers operate under their own privacy policies. We describe the main categories below; this is not an exhaustive list of every subprocess or future vendor.

HUBRION LIMITED is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party providers. When you use the Application, those providers may process data as described in their own terms and policies.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only as needed to operate the Application, including:
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, advertising, AI processing, and similar vendors who assist us under appropriate agreements.
- Legal requirements: when required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Protection of rights: to protect the rights, property, or safety of HUBRION LIMITED, our users, or others, where permitted by law.
6. Subscriptions & billing data
Subscription and one-time purchases are processed by Apple’s App Store and/or Google Play. HUBRION LIMITED does not collect or store your credit or debit card numbers. We receive only what the stores provide to confirm your purchase status, product identifiers, and related transaction references needed to unlock premium features.

7. Notifications & permissions
The Application may ask for device permissions such as:
- Camera: to capture images for analysis (live preview and capture).
- Photo library: to let you select existing images for analysis or to save exports where the feature supports it.
- Notifications: only if we offer optional alerts and you enable them — you can turn these off in device settings.
- Network access: to send images for AI processing, load ads, and sync analytics.
You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings; revoking some permissions may limit or disable related features.
8. Children’s privacy
The Application is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@hubrion.com and we will take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain types of processing.
To exercise these rights or ask questions, contact us at contact@hubrion.com. You may also adjust analytics or ad tracking where your device platform allows (for example, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency or similar settings).
10. Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Application and for the purposes described in this policy. Locally stored scan history remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Application, unless a feature explicitly provides another control.
Analytics or diagnostic data held by third parties (such as Google) may be retained according to those providers’ retention policies.
11. Links to other sites
The Application may link to external websites or services (for example, legal documents opened in a browser). Those sites have their own privacy practices; we are not responsible for their content or policies. Please review their policies when you visit them.
12. Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective or “last updated” date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy, except where applicable law requires a different process.
13. Terms of use (EULA)
Use of the Application is also governed by our Terms & Conditions. The same HTTPS Terms of Use link shown in the Application (for example, from Settings or the subscription screen) and in the App Store listing applies to your use of Object IQ.
Apps distributed through the App Store are also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at:
